    A leader and member of 6 strategic planning, IRB, APT, and disciplinary committees, as well as Faculty Council, PhD, dissertation, and research committees. As Director of Research, identified and obtained funding for junior faculty members and for educational programming; trained residents and faculty across departments in grant writing; created research SOP’s. Successful mentoring of > 60 investigators, and 12 investigator teams (teams of 3 to 6 individuals) across several institutions and disciplines (e.g., neuroscience, engineering, occupational and physical therapy, industrial design, medicine), resulting in 10 awards and a University Fellowship. Successful mentoring of doctoral capstone experiences for OTD and DPT students. Over 15 years of international service creating, implementing, and leading multidisciplinary groups (e.g., speech therapists, nurses; occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, engineers). For example. I co-created the Stroke Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group (ISIG). Participated in all aspects of manuscript development and submission, resulting in >130 peer reviewed publications, > 250 presentations, > 45 national and international research awards; highest y-index (publication intensity) in the field, worldwide. Obtained >$15,000,000 in extramural grant funding; managed pre-award and post-award processes, budget negotiations with sponsors, progress reporting, and all communications with sponsors. Conceived and co-created internationally-recognized, first-in-class stroke certification for occupational and physical therapists, as well as neurological upper extremity certification for occupational therapists.
